The horse operation uses embryo transfer, shipped semen and artificial insemination to be able to breed to the best stallions in the Quarter Horse industry. Brood mares are selected based on conformation, lineage and performance in the cutting arena as well as produce record. Mares are only retained as brood mares if they have money earnings in competition and/or produce money earners. Horses owned or bred by Diamond S Farms have earned over $1 Million. Both yearlings and trained cutting horses are marketed for sale as well as quality broke ranch horses used in all facets of cattle ranching.
